In August 2019, Sreeparna Kar embarked on a transformative journey, leaving behind a corporate design career to give life to her own dream – Ira.

Sreeparna’s artistic odyssey commenced at the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology, where her talents were nurtured and her creative roots took hold. Seven fruitful years as a designer polished her skills, but her true aspiration had always beckoned her towards self-expression on her own terms. Each day further ignited the flames of her artistic fervour, propelling her to venture into the realm where dreams are woven into reality.

Her heart brims with nostalgia, a sentiment that threads through every creation under the banner of Ira. It’s this very sense of nostalgia that fuels her designs, infusing them with a timeless yet contemporary allure.
