They have an exquisite collection of jamdani and kantha sarees. The patterns/designs are unlike the usual jamdani or kantha sarees. I really like the origami inspired jamdani sarees. My interactions with them have always been very pleasant.

Ira, to me has been the home where art meets eclecticism, under the warm sunshine of traditional nuances. Sreeparna’s eye for impeccable craftsmanship brings out the most unique pieces in textiles- be it jamdani or kantha, all of them have variant stories to tell! I particularly love how they are such showstopper pieces that speak volumes with their minimalist, intricate details. It’s been an absolute delight to watch Ira grow over the years, gifting us pieces of incomparable intricacy that I, for once am going to hold on to, for life.

I have a few sarees from Ira and each one is distinctively unique and different. Simplicity and elegance combined with a dash of modern strokes draw me to them every time. Sreeparna, you have created a wonderful brand and a lifelong patron! All the love.

I associate Ira with essence of textiles from Bengal. The modern interpretation of kantha by Ira stands out in the deluge of embroidered sarees. I have particularly enjoyed wearing the light indigo jamdani, my first buy from them. I am happy to see the journeying of a young label, turning into confident strides. The graceful building of the label speaks of a good team.
